What kind of amenities will Rosegill have?
The amenities of Rosegill will have a water focus. Canoe and kayak launches, swim and recreation clubs, interpretive nature trails, a sandy beach, picnic areas, a barn for community gatherings, and lots of places to enjoy old friends and new neighbors in a spectacular setting. Perhaps best of all, more than half of the 848 acres is dedicated to green space.
What kind of homes will be in Rosegill?
There will be many different types of homes in Rosegill, different sizes and different styles. Rosegill should appeal both to those who would like a small cottage or those who are looking for more room to spread out. We will even have Captain's Quarters condominiums for those who are interested in maintenance free living.
When will Rosegill be ready?
We expect to break ground in 2008. There is a lot of planning necessary to get a community as special as Rosegill underway.
Who will live at Rosegill?
Rosegill is being designed to appeal to all types of residents, particularly those who appreciate their "home away from home" near the water. We expect the close proximity to Urbanna to resonate for many, but no one will be able to resist all the active and passive water activities close at hand. We are creating an authentic community here and expect that anyone who experiences it will want to be a part of the Rosegill life.
